Broad Global Active
Stocks may be selected from companies located, listed or with significant operations in any emerging market country, and both large and small capitalization stocks are eligible.
The Chief Investment Officer, with constant input from investment staff, allocates the percentage of the portfolio for all major emerging markets, a judgmental process informed by EMM's proprietary country allocation model. The portfolio managers are then assigned to pick stocks in particular regions and sectors, based on their expertise, working closely with a group of analysts. Stock selection is based on a rigorous, value-oriented process. We conduct numerous company visits throughout the world and utilize EMM's proprietary database and earnings forecasts to better analyze companies and industries. EMM's Investment Committee reviews and approves all stocks included in a Broad Global Active portfolio, generally prior to first purchase.
